The Appraisal Market Manager is responsible for all oversight of Valuation Connect’s panel in comparison to business needs. This position is responsible for assisting with initiatives which continually improve and optimize Valuation Connect’s panel. The Appraisal Market Manager helps develop effective partnerships with our panel members to improve the SLA and financial performance of the company.


  • Support operations management with continued communication to identify coverage and service gaps
  • Evaluate monthly operations statistics and make recommendations to ensure that the panel supports current and potential business volumes
  • Collaborates with business partners to design and organize valued processes and to ensure continuous improvement of overall efficiency and quality of our subcontractor panel in target markets
  • Monitor performance - Track, measure, report and evaluation of vendor performance
  • Facilitate and maintain vendor relationship between the business and vendors
  • Create and establish vendor performance standards that align with VC corporate goals
  • Host meetings with operations team members to review market performance and action plans
  • Assists with ongoing operational projects
  • Performs other duties as required



  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience– emphasis in accounting, finance, real estate preferred


  • A minimum of 5 years of panel management experience is recommended
  • Five years in any type of Appraisal Operations and Management carries significant weight

Other Skills/Knowledge:

  • Strong sense of urgency required with ability to multitask in a dynamic, demanding environment
  • Ability to analyze detailed data, think strategically about the industry and apply to the direction of the company
  • Strong MS Office Suite skills
  • Ability to plan, organize and schedule own work
  • Basic financial analysis
