Overview

The Director works with Senior Management and is responsible for managing the productivity of their department.  The incumbent is accountable for managing the workload issues across their department and tracking their productivity as a whole.  The Director is also responsible for making sure their management staff is leading their teams effectively.  In addition to managing the overall daily operations, the Director is responsible for developing and implementing strategies and tactics that will increase client satisfaction and improve corporate productivity.  Director is also responsible for establishing rapports with the existing clients, in order to gain access into other business lines.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Service Level Performance across the team to ensure all client expectations are met
  • Communicate & Enforce policies and procedures to their teams
  • Manage workload issues with team, proposing efficiency initiatives as necessary
  • Participate in System Enhancement Process
  • Review Staffing Requirements with their VP
  • Manage Space Allocation for Company
  • Authorization all Team OT
  • Provide 1-on-1 training to the Managers, as Needed  
  • Manage time off for direct reports.
  • Prepare & Administer Performance Reviews for Manager
  • Approve Promotions and Salary Increases for Manager positions
  • Participate in Interview Process, as well as Termination Process with assistance from Human Resources.
  • Responsible for production and profitability of team to ensure company achieves its goals and objectives
  • Review Training Report to ensure team is trained appropriately in all areas
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly management reports
  • Build and Maintain Morale Amongst Team
  • Maintain complete confidentiality and privacy of departmental matters
  • Complete all assignments in a timely manner
  • Act as a leader within the company
  • All other duties assigned

Qualifications

  • Detail orientated, process driven
  • Title industry experience (Abstracting, examination)
  • ability to multi-task
  • experience with managing a team and to drive them to meet goals
  • Must have strong computer skills including a strong proficiency in Excel
