Overview

The Title Assistant is responsible for supporting all functions related to a title unit’s daily operation.  They may review various title products and answer client inquiries regarding the status of the property. 

Responsibilities

  • Review/Analyze/Verify Property Index and General Name Index for effect on title
  • Perform Patriot, Pacer and Child Support Searches, as needed
  • Review Search Results to Ensure Compliance with all Requirements
  • Properly prices commitments, endorsements, policies and guarantees using appropriate schedule of fees and charges based on property location
  • Process requests for recordings and file updates as needed
  • Additional Duties, as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must have High-School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 Years as Title Assistant with Default Title experience
  • Strong Customer Service Focus
  • Ability to Work in Fast-Paced Environment and Meet Deadlines
  • Experience with Default & Origination products across multiple States
  • Capability to Work both Independently and as part of a Team
  • Problem-Solving Mindset with Ability to Multitask
  • Proficient Typing (55 wpm minimum)
