Overview

Position Summary

  • Mortgage Connect is seeking a QA/QE Manager.
  • In this role, you will collaborate with product managers, developers, quality assurance resources, architects, and site reliability engineers to manage the quality testing services for multiple IT development value streams, enhance and maintain our quality team, practices and tools to ensure the delivery of high quality products and services for our customer’s IT Systems.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assists senior management in the establishment of QA programs
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the QA team and provide oversight, development and management to staff
  • Assess the priority of projects and manage work assignments ensuring adequate resourcing to meet project timelines and provides quality deliverables
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to understand initiatives, gather automation requirements, implement automated tests, troubleshoot issues, and implement scalable test automation solutions
  • Identifies and sets appropriate quality standards and parameters for products
  • Oversee technological the implementation of the enterprise automation frameworks
  • Support implementation of test strategies and effective test automation solutions
  • Participate in design and architectural reviews of proposed automation solutions
  • Stay abreast of industry-best tools, methods, and best practices related to both manual and automated testing
  • Communicate roadblocks or defects in a clear and concise manner
  • Dedication to quality with a positive collaborative approach to testing

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in implementing test automation solutions
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business, or Writing, or Equivalent Work Experience
  • 8+ years of experience with automated testing of software applications, and creating and maintaining automated test suites
  • Skilled in a variety of languages, frameworks, and tools for test verification and automation, such as JMeter, Python, JavaScript, Selenium, Protractor, Pytest, Postman, Karate
  • Understanding of continuous integration and delivery methodologies
  • Working knowledge of Windows and Linux, all major web browsers, and iOS and Android mobile devices
  • Experience in advising teams to identify automatable test cases at different layers (UI, API, Data)
  • 2+ Years of Related Work Experience Ideally in the Title or Real Estate Industry
  • Strong Customer Service Focus

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret common technical reports, and documentation
  • Present information to executive and senior management teams, sales department, internal groups and/or clients
