Overview

Mortgage Connect is seeking an Enterprise Automation Architect. In this role, you will collaborate with product managers, developers, quality assurance, architects, and site reliability engineers to create and maintain a comprehensive automation framework, enhance and maintain an efficient and quality-driven development pipeline, and ensure the delivery of high quality products.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement test automation strategy including roadmap, tools, framework and approach
  • Design and implement automation frameworks supportive of Functional and Performance testing
  • Develop fully automated solutions that integrate with DevOps pipelines
  • Identify and recommend automated testing processes and tools
  • Oversee technological execution of the recommended automation solution roadmap
  • Provide leadership, guidance, training and mentoring to implement test automation
  • Participate in design and architectural reviews of proposed automation solutions
  • Stay abreast of industry-best tools, methods, and best practices related to both manual and automated testing
  • Communicate about roadblocks or defects in a clear and concise manner
  • Dedication to quality with a positive collaborative approach to testing

Lead and mentor junior developers 

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience architecting and implementing test automation solutions
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business, or Writing, or Equivalent Work Experience
  • 8+ years of experience with automated testing of software applications, and creating and maintaining automated test suites
  • Skilled in a variety of languages, frameworks, and tools for test verification and automation, such as JMeter, Python, JavaScript, Selenium, Pytest, Postman and APM tools
  • Previous experience setting up and maintaining Azure DevOps pipelines is desired
  • Demonstrated understanding of PowerShell scripting
  • Understanding of continuous integration and delivery methodologies
  • Working knowledge of Windows, Linux, all major web browsers, iOS and Android mobile devices
  • Understanding of version control, branching schemes, reverts, rebasing, etc. using Git
  • Experience in advising teams to identify automatable test cases at different layers (UI, API, Data)
  • 2+ Years of Related Work Experience Ideally in the Title or Real Estate Industry is desired
  • Strong Customer Service Focus
