Valuations Analyst - Alternative BPO

Responsibilities for the Valuation Analyst will include completing an Administrative and/or Technical Review of all lines of alternative valuation reports completed by Valuation Connect’s Panel of real estate professionals and appraisers to ensure they meet established quality standards and customer specific guidelines. This includes timely response to phone calls and emails from Panel, customers and internal staff as well as coaching vendors regarding established standards while meeting client specific guidelines. The Alternative Valuation Analyst may also complete Value Reconciliations and train staff and panel appraisers on valuation techniques as needed. Appraisal Analyst must be able to function in a dynamic, fast paced work environment that is driven by customer defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

The Valuation Analyst plays a key part in enabling Valuation Connect to accomplish its mission, which is to change the landscape of appraisal management companies (AMCs). Valuation Connect is a dynamic, growing, stand-alone firm affiliated with Valuation Connect and has a culture of interaction, teamwork, and problem-solving. All Valuation Connect employees are expected to perform any and all tasks and activities that support the fulfillment of its mission.


  • Diagnoses problems identified through telephone and electronic communications and addresses or escalates efficiently
  • Provides coaching and feedback to appraisal service providers while reviewing reports
  • Completes administrative reviews while focusing on compliance with client, industry, federal, state, and local guidelines
  • Reviews value reconciliations and other value opinions to ensures all opinions are well supported with necessary information, photos, and explanations
  • Reviews valuation products and complete administrative reviews on appraisals
  • Identification of USPAP violations and unacceptable valuation practices
  • Develops an understanding of all lender requirements and understands various documented client specific appraisal requirements
  • Maintains and adheres to all Valuation Connect policies and procedures
  • Provides internal staff with training and feedback
  • Must be able to work overtime as required
  • Performs other duties as required


  • Up to date with USPAP continuing education or willing to take required course
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • College degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred
  • 3 Years of valuations field experience preferred
  • Valuation review experience preferred
  • Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently
