Overview

Summary of Position

The Analyst is responsible for analyzing and evaluating overall business strategy and performance.  The role involves examining various aspects of the business, industry trends, and competitive landscapes to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.   The Analyst will utilize their analytical skills, business acumen, and problem-solving abilities to conduct research, assess opportunities, and recommend strategies that align with the organization's goals.    

 

What you will do

 

 

  • Conduct analysis of Closed/Won Sales pipelines and report on YTD new business boarded to Executives
  • Assist VP in maintaining and reporting on new business boarded by Sales Representatives to Finance and Executives
  • Continual Analysis of open Salesforce Pipeline to report on new business boarding to Sales, Finance and Executives
  • Continual analysis of current Salesforce practices to recommend and implement process improvements
  • Assist VP in preparing Sales presentation materials for Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Budget meetings
  • Perform various analysis as assigned utilizing existing Sage, Salesforce, SSRS and Power BI dashboard data
  • Analysis of existing reports to recommend and work with development teams to implement reporting improvements
  • Analysis of existing Power BI dashboards to recommend and work with Power BI development team to implement data visualization improvements
  • Communicating with Finance to ensure Sales analysis and figures align with Financial reporting
  • Serve alongside Project Management team to assist in projects that may require report development or additional analysis
  • Support Sales in various market research and industry trends analysis
  • Other duties as  assigned

 

What you will bring

 

 

  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required including ability to write formulas, macros, create power pivots, what if scenarios, etc.
  • Excellent analytical and presentation skills
  • Previous experience performing financial analysis strongly preferred
  • Experience utilizing CRM tools;  Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Experience utilizing data visualization tools;  Experience creating Power BI data visualization dashboards is a bonus, but not required
  • Experience working with large data sets to create reports
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Priority will be given to candidates with Salesforce Administrator Certification
