Overview

We are in the business of home ownership and are looking for a Lien Release & Assignment Associate who will find a career home with us. This non-exempt role is for someone who enjoys working independently in a fast-paced environment as you will be responsible for data entry necessary to create documents to be recorded by a county recorder.

 

What you will do 

 

Data Entry to Create Assignments of Mortgage and Lien Releases

  • Review mortgages and related documents for fields required for data entry
  • Enter the required fields into a production system to prepare Assignments of Mortgage and Lien Releases
  • Identify and address issues such as missing information, incomplete, inaccurate or contradictory information contained in the support documentation

Strong attention to detail

  • Accurate data entry of required data fields
  • Ability to critically review completed orders for errors

 

What you will bring 

 

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Two+ years of practical work experience within the real estate or title industry
  • Knowledge of basic real estate documents including  Mortgages, Deeds of Trust, Assignments and Lien Releases
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Capability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with computers
  • Proficient typing (55 WPM)
