Overview

Human Resources Coordinator

Connecting is at the heart of all we do, and we are looking for a new connector to join our highly collaborative People & Culture team as an HR Coordinator. In this non-exempt role, you will connect with internal stakeholders, develop relationships of trust, and provide administrative support to the human resources team.

 

What you will do 

 

 


Being a successful connector starts with relationships. You will become a trusted partner by supporting team members with day-to-day tasks as detailed below:

 

Communicate and Collaborate

  • Communicate professionally and respectfully with candidates, employees, and leadership
  • Correspond with onboarding and offboarding employees in a way that shows empathy
  • Assist with processing of employee exits (resignations and terminations)
  • Collaborate with other departments such as IT, Training, Accounting to accomplish shared goals

 

Onboarding

  • Manage and facilitate onboarding process (run background checks, drug screens, completion of compliance requirements including I9 verifications) 
  • Complete ADP profile creations for full time employees and temp. employees
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to communicate status of new hires
  • Collaborate with IT team to ensure proper equipment is sent to new hires
  • Communicate and collaborate internally as well as externally to ensure a smooth onboarding experience

 

Customer Service

  • Ensure customer-centric focus by answering employee questions and requests within a 24-hour turnaround time
  • Approach all issues with a “can-do” attitude, escalating more complex issues to management for resolution

 

Offboarding and Compliance

  • Assist with exits/ terminations as required
  • Maintain accuracy of employee files by uploading required documentation to HRIS system
  • Assist with completion of unemployment paperwork
  • Additional duties and special projects, as assigned

 

What you will bring 

 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a Human Resources field of study, or relevant experience
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year in HR , ideally in a high-growth environment
  • Language: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to communicate with all levels of the organization; Ability to read, analyze and interpret reports and documentation
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work 40-hour work week with potential overtime based upon business needs
  • Technology: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel), applicant tracking systems (iCIMS preferred), sourcing sites, social media platforms, email and browser navigation, the ability to learn new programs and processes
