Overview

Position Summary

The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines. This includes acquiring resources, planning, and maintaining software applications and operating systems as it relates to Mortgage Connect’s technical environments, which include Azure, Microsoft, .Net, and SQL Server.  The Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle and ensure accuracy with Production requirements.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Take Ownership of Project Execution from Inception to Closure
  • Build, Develop, Grow Business Relationships Vital to Project Success
  • Ability to work with multiple Department Leads and Line Level Users across the company
  • Define Project Scope, Goals, and Deliverables to Support Business Goals
  • Develop Full-Scale Project Plans and Associated Communication Documents
  • Identify/Mange Project Dependencies and Critical Path
  • Proactively Manage Changes in Project Scope, Identify Potential Crises, Devise Contingency Plans
  • Identify/Resolve Issues within Application Development Team
  • Set/Manage Project Expectations with Team Members
  • Estimate Resources and Participants Needed to Achieve Project Goals
  • Plan and Schedule Project Timelines, Using Appropriate Tools
  • Develop and Deliver Progress Reports, Requirements Documentation, and Presentations
  • Define Project Success Criteria and Disseminate to Involved Parties throughout Project Life Cycle
  • Additional Duties, as assigned


    Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
  • Technically Competent with Various Software Programs, 2+ years of Azure experience is required
  • Must have at least 2 Years experience in either the Mortgage or Title Insurance Industry
  • Strong Customer Service Focus

Language Skills

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret common financial reports, and legal documents
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
  • Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format
  • Ability to effectively present information to senior and executive management teams, public groups and/or boards of directors
