Overview

Legal Analyst

The legal analyst will play a pivotal role in keeping the office functioning efficiently, from filing regulatory documents to maintaining complete and accurate files. This person will build collaborative working relationships with our lawyers and our business partners. The ideal candidate is organized, diligent, and can work both independently and as part of a team.

 

What you will do 

 

  • Track deadlines to ensure regulatory documents are filed in a timely manner.
  • Serve as the main point of contact with regulatory agencies and underwriters (as it relates to individual appointments)
  • Management of all administrative responsibility for the Legal and Compliance departments.
  • Drafting of correspondence and other documents on behalf of company counsel.
  • Draft and maintain all corporate governance records
  • Serve as liaison on all corporate compliance filings.
  • Maintain and renew company and individual employee licenses, as needed.
  • Ensure prompt recording of all Do Not Insure notifications.
  • Review, maintain and respond to all service of process related documentation

What you will bring 

 

  • Five or more years of experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to manage sensitive and confidential information.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced legal environment
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
