About the Role
We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Senior Project Manager to lead cross-functional implementation projects with a focus on onboarding enterprise mortgage clients. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a proven track record of managing complex projects end-to-end, and brings a deep understanding of mortgage industry operations.
The ideal candidate combines deep project leadership expertise with exceptional communication skills, and brings a strong understanding of client-facing implementations and third-party integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full lifecycle project management for complex client onboarding engagements, from initiation to post-implementation review.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations using industry-standard tools (e.g., MS Project or Project 365).
- Identify project risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery.
- Facilitate regular project meetings (daily Scrums) and provide clear, timely communication of project status, issues, and escalations.
- Partner with technical and operational teams to coordinate system integrations, data migrations, and platform configurations.
- Track project financials, budgets, and forecasting against scope and delivery milestones.
- Mentor Account Management team members and contribute to process improvement initiatives within the PMO.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of project management experience, with at least 7 years in a senior or lead role.
- Proven experience managing large-scale client onboarding or enterprise implementations.
- Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) and tools.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end mortgage processes (loan origination, servicing, escrow, compliance, etc.) preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams across operations, technology, and external vendors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field; PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification preferred.
