Overview

As the Title Reader, New York, you will research public records and examine titles to determine any conditions or restrictions that may exist on property titles. 

 

What you will do 

 

  • Read/examine the abstract of properties
  • Review surveys
  • Draft metes and bounds descriptions
  • Assist in clearance of title issues
  • Prepare title commitments using our state-of-the-art, easy to use, software system
  • All other duties as assigned by management.
  • Act as a leader within the company
  • All other duties assigned

What you will bring 

 

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years title reading/clearance experience for New York
  • Must possess good organizational skills, ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines, and demonstrate good communication skills
  • Proven customer service skills
  • Proficiency with personal computers, MS Office and office equipment

The pay range for this position is 85-100,000 annually.
